The theme of TD Summer Reading 2025 will be “Around the World!”. Look forward to another fun summer at the library.
Program Information:
This program is a wonderful opportunity to get children interested in reading over the summer and help maintain their reading levels.
In-Library:
- Parents can sign their child(ren) up for 4 individual day spots.
- There will be a limit of 12 children per day, but a waitlist will be available for filled classes.
- The children will explore a new topic each week through crafts, stories, and games.
- We do ask you to bring your own water bottle, hat, and sunscreen for when we play games outside. There will also be NO snacks provided!
Age Range: 6 – 12 years
When: Tuesdays (10 am – 12 pm) or Thursdays (1 pm – 3 pm)
At-Home:
Ages 3 – 12
- Throughout the summer, we will be holding a little competition for those who want to participate.
- Children will be logging their time read on a log sheet, which will be put towards winning potential prizes!
- For every hour read, they can exchange those minutes for a $10 Adventure Buck and spend it right away or hold on to the cash until the end of summer and spend it on bigger items.
- Hand in a book report to receive a free movie rental ticket.
- There will be two reading teams. Help your team’s plane or boat travel across the world!
