Moccasin / Mitten / Mukluk Making Classes

For those of you who had joined us in the previous moccasins classes, we are now offering an advanced class for those who want to continue learning!

Knitting Club "Needles in the Stacks"

Needles in the Stacks!

Are you interested in joining a group of Knitting aficionados? Here amongst our stacks, we will be happy to find a spot for you. We have been looking for a "Facilitator" to lead the group, but have heard from a few knitters who would be happy to simply spend time with others, share tips, methods, and enjoy a cuppa, while clicking away.

Please respond by email: and I will put you in contact with others, to determine the best time and day of the week. Thus far, we have two interested parties who are looking to meet during the daytime, weekdays. If this jives with your schedule, we can get started, also forming a second group if the interest is there, for an evening or weekend.

Also: if you have knitting materials that you are not in need of, we welcome donations to allow beginners an opportunity to get started without financial investment, until they are certain they have the desire to continue. Donations can be dropped off anytime, during open hours. Thanks for your consideration!  ( Donna )

Book Club

Love reading, but stuck in a rut and looking for something new to read? Join our "Better than Therapy" Book Club. We meet on the 1st Friday of each month, normally taking a break over the summer. When we meet back in September, we brainstorm our list for the following months, with each member's input. Books and dates for this year are listed below.

Children Winter Programs

It's a new year and winter is now in full swing! Though it's a bit chilly out, we have a nice warm library with many children's programs about to start up to keep you and your little one busy! So if you have a little one who's not in school quite yet, take a look at what's going on at the library!
