Story Time is a program for children and their parents together in which stories, rhymes, and songs are shared. Children must be two years of age at the start of the session. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

1 hour sessions, once a week.
Winter Session
Mondays: 10:30-11:30 am
Feb 8 - March 29, 2010
Registration required. Children must be over two years old. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

 

Time to rock, rattle and roll. Baby & Me offers early childhood and literacy activities to help babies grow.

1 hour sessions, once a week. Total of 8 weeks of infant/parent activities.
Winter Session
Tuesdays: 10:30-11:30 am
Feb 9 - March 30, 201
Registration required. Infant must be under two years old. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Siblings welcome to attend.

 Freedom to Read Week is an annual event that encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom, which is guaranteed them under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Freedom to Read Week is organized by the Freedom of Expression Committee of the Book and Periodical Council.

Watercolour Classes Print E-mail

Tuesday afternoons from 1 – 3 pm

February 9 – March 30, 2010

 Instructor:  Deanne Miller  - 444-4858

This class will cover various watercolour techniques for the beginner and intermediate artist.  No previous experience is required.  Learn how to control various types of washes, colour mixing, layering, value patterns and how to design a painting from your own photos.

 

Cost:  $110 for eight weeks

Supplies:  Contact the instructor for a supply list to collect your own supplies, or starter kits may be rented.

                Register:  Please contact the instructor at 444-4858 to register.   Class size is limited, please register early!
